Inspiration and Motivation for People with Parkinson’s

Meet Jimmy Choi, Parkinson’s advocate, fundraiser, and massive motivator!

When Jimmy was diagnosed at just 27 years old, he didn’t believe it as he thought it was an old person’s disease. Angry and depressed, Jimmy’s life went into a downward spiral. Until one day he read that a little bit of exercise could help slow the progression of his disease.

What began as a walk around the block turned into jogging, then running half marathons, then marathons, and finally, competing on American Ninja Warrior.

Sixteen years after his diagnosis, Jimmy is almost unrecognizable. No longer depressed and unfit, he is an inspiration to us all. His motto? “Better every day. What can I do today that’s more than yesterday? I must give it my all. Leave nothing behind.”
