Default Hot legs

Morning everyone,
Over the past few weeks I have developed "hot legs" in bed. I get off to sleep ok but wake up a couple of hours later with a feeling in both legs that someone has rammed hot needles in them. They are not hot to touch. It is very uncomfortable and I have to get up which of course affects my sleep pattern and affects me the following day with tiredness and being a bit irritable. Anyone else have this and is it linked to PD?
I tried putting on a tutu Ltd but it didn't help Ha Ha

Hi Drew,I do not have hot legs. I have dystonia which make twitch and draw and hurt all night. My feet draw and ball up too. Dr. says no dopamine in legs and feet.I also have this during daytime. I have developed a new sinsation in my feet. Whwn I walk very long without stopping my feet feel very strange on the bottom. It passes after about one hour. I wonder if anyone else has this problem. Thanks, bruce

Hi both
this is just a thought
Have you had your legs tested for circulation,it's a simple test done, with a dopplar machine, we do them for leg ulcers, and as a routine test for diabetics

It checks the pulses in your feet, and this will tell what the circulation is like , if you have a arterial or venous problem, If venous support socks will help, but you do need the test first, to no which type you will need, if this is your problem.
Just thought it might help you Eliminate, if circulation or PD
Take care both

Hi My wife thinks I have pour circulation because my feet and ankles are so cold most of the time. Will discuss with dr. You know, doctors seem to loose interest after a while and seem to just patronage you. I find this very annoying. Bruce

Hi Bruce
sounds like your better half could be right
Just ask the doctor can you have a dopplar test done
it's very easy and quick, and explain it will eliminate, circulation , or pd,if circulation, you may need just support socks, or a small op to unblock them
They are so quick to say "you have pd must be that" but if he does it, then you no where you stand
