Default A Victoria gem

We have just returned from holidaying with my son and his family. His youngest daughter Victoria insisted that she always sits in my car when travelling.
We were treated to non stop chatter from her and numerous songs.
During one of her singing sessions she got into a bit of a muddle with the words.
"Oh dear " she said "I think I am singing the wrong virgin of it".
"I think you mean version " I said

Hi Juanita
Victoria is 8 and she looks like an angel and acts like a devil.
She is wonderful with Beryl and likes to take control of her wheelchair and organising her medication -she knows exactly how many tablets (18/day) and how many of each one.Grandchidren are a real booster for PD sufferers. She also believes that her grandma will resolve her PD problems
Love Gary

Hi Gary
What you said about g/children been a booster for us with PD is absolutely true. I look after my 9 yr old grandson while his parents are at work, I take him to school every day which is a round trip of 8 miles. I can still drive my car, and I hope to continue driving for many more years.
Looking after Conor keeps me occupied, I have less time to dwell on my own illness.

You grandparents make me eager for February, when I will be a grandmother for the first time! My daughter is having a little boy, whose name is Grant.

I can hardly wait! But then, I don't have any choice, do I?

Hi Diana

back.
I am delighted to hear you are soon to become a grandmother,
it is amazing, and we have more time to spoil them than we had with our own children. Our first grandchild is very, very special and gives us lots of pleasure.

We all agree grandparenting is very special because grandchildren are so very special! Was ever another so beautiful? So brilliant as these grandchildren of ours? Our oldest 35 and our youngest grandchild will be 2 in December and she is so very special. We also have great grandchildren. Our granddaughter from New Zealand is to arrive here on Wednesday next week with 2 of our great grandchildren. We've never seen either of them before. We are looking forward eagerly to the visit. Juanita
