How does everyone feel about the FDA allowing testing to be done on a stem cell drug for paralysis on humans/do you think stem cell therapy will be the answer to a cure for parkinsons.li this a good thing.l'm just wondering?

:confused: Anything new even Stem Cells must be good if it can help people with long term illness. I really do think it will be a cure for PD and many other longterm progressive degenerative illnesses but being a pescimist i wonder at what cost.

I am so happy to think that stem cell research may proceed faster than before. I really believe it will lead to major improvements in PD treatment. It has been so frustrating to have the US government (my government) withholding its approval and funding of this important area of research!
