I am a new member of this "family". I was diagnosed almost three years ago, which for the first few months I was in denial.
However, I have come to terms with it, as much as anyone can. I am in overall good health otherwise. I have learned that a positive attitude helps me get through the tough times. Having this web-site to go to, whether it be a question about the disease, or to chat with others in the same situation, is a blessing. I am looking forward to future for the first time in quite a while. I know that this disease will be my partner from now on, but so be it. We have to deal with whatever is dealt us. This disease is all new to me (7 months) so I am still trying to accept it. Family has helped me alot.
