Hi guy's last night I spoke to Heather senior

she is thankfully alive and well if not dissallusioned by the system.

She struggles on like a trojan army single handed without support because Jim doesn't qualify for assistance from any Parkers charity.

Since he has symptoms that mimic PD no drugs assist him and since it is not PD no charity assists either.

A special adapted wheelchair for him costs £1200 english pounds and on retired/part time nurses wages she is hard pressed to save this amount up.

Heather asks for nothing and would tell me off for informing you all but "I'm taller than her by 3 foot and live too far away for her to get hold of me "

The word's worn out cannot be heard because she is too worn out to say them.

Pray for her and Jim to give her strength.

Hi You :)!
Thanks for telling us about Heather Senior. I'm so sorry about her feeling so down and about Jim being so ill. When you talk with her again, please give her my love, prayers and a big hug and hello.
I sent her a card from American Greetings but she never opened it. Sent it about a month ago. I started worrying about her when she didn't respond. Because it isn't like her at all.
Tell her we miss her and wish we could do something to make it all better. The Forum isn't the same without her cheery pictures with comments, her advice but most of all her love and concern for all of us here at the Forum and all of the tremendous help she has given us all at one time or another.
Margie :)

You are so right, Margie. The forum is not the same without her cheer, pictures, advice and caring attitude. :(

I wonder if there might be someone in Heather's area who no longer needs a wheelchair who would make it available to them.
Juanita:confused:

Hi Juanita
I know Heather has got a wheelchair already but due to Jim's condition over 12 yrs, he is in need of what i'd best describe as a "designer wheelchair"

Heather is tiny in comparinson to anyone and struggles to keep him in a wheelchair which isn't specifically adapted to suit his needs. I wish it were so easy just to adapt the wheelchair they already have, but no such luck

I am praying for a wheelchair for Jim, not just any wheelchair, but one that is appropriate for him and his needs. :)

HI Ltd_addition - Margie here. I'm on the Forum too right now. Can't sleep but so tired. Tony not well. Hoping for improvement soon.

Please, when you ring Heather tell her, her former student is sending prayers for her and Jim and that I hope comfort is soon in coming.

Do you think she could contact any Parkinson's Foundations to ask for assistance? Maybe they have a special fund for certain things and Jim would be eligible to receive anything that he needs. I wish I knew something I could tell her to contact, but unfortunately I don't. I'll just keep praying for her and Jim.

Hey you! Get to sleep. Listen to who is talking ! I better take my own advice otherwise I'll never get up on time.

Talk with you soon again.
Love, always
Margie:)
