I am now taking 2 sinimet plus tablets a day plus 9 mgs of ropinerol. About half an hour after taking one of my 3 daily doses of medication I start to feel very sleepy but if I shut my eyes and begin to relax for a little while different bits of me start to twitch and flick about. For example my foot will give a violent flick or even my face will grimace and twitch. I find this is mortifying and dread that it will happen in front of anybody else. So far I just try to keep awake at all costs. Could this be a side effect of the medication as it never used to happen to me before or is it a PD symptom. Are there any other twitchy flicky people out there?

Hi MaryG
I am sorry it has neaver happened to me and I take sinimet but I don't take Ropinerol I think if it continues I would talk to your DR, I don't think it is a part of PD I might be wrong because it affects us all differantly but any thing I have read dosn't sound like what you are experiencing hope it stops for you let me know good luck :confused:Pauline
