Too much Sinemet?

My father takes sinemet 4 times a day. The dosage for each time is 50mg of carbidopa and 200mg of levodopa. Sometime I wonder if his dosage is too high. Has anyone experienced any negative affects from too much sinemet? He is also experiencing great heat sensations through his legs and trunk approx. the same time every day. Could this be related? He is cool to the touch but feels like he is on fire inside. Any ideas?

Mary here. I have PD down my right side and also take Sinemet Plus and Mirapexin(Pramipexol) 3 times daily. I also suffer the same burning feeling inside my right leg even though it feels cool outside but discussing the feeling with my General Practioner he says it is coming from my back and is sciatica and not related to PD.It might be a good idea to get your Dad checked.I will check it with my PD specialist on my next visit in October
