Stomach upset

I have been on Sinemet since January doing alright no side effects but for the last 2 weeks I have had a upset stomach but just in the evening after our dinner meal not sure if it is from the sinemet or some thing else :confused:Pauline

Hi Pauline,
Sinemet can cause stomach problems. It can work both ways. It can make you "go" or not "go" depending on the individual. In my case it act as a stopper. My GP has given my MOVACOL which loosens the stool and has been a great help to me. I also have to take Senekot or Senna tablets but I have been advised that the reason for above is my meds block me up. Hope this helps,
