I read on the internet that some antioxident in blueberries has been found to be very beneficial for dementia/alzhiemers.
Since my hubby (pd 3 years) has been having increasing problems with memory & concentration I decided to give them a try. I bought fresh blueberries, frozen blueberries, blueberry yogurt, blueberry breakfast bars, blueberry muffins......and I make sure he has at least one serving every day. His mind is remarkably sharper, he has more energy and can actually carry on a conversation with me. Of course, he didn't think he was bad before so he can't see the change, but others have noticed it. My kids say, "Gee, dad seems a lot more 'with it' these days. I told them about the blueberries. He still takes Sinemet, Requip, klonopin, and arecept.
