Had a long chat with Heather this evening about new potential members seeing this site for the first time and the potential confusion as to which area to go to initially.
THIS area is a good place to start - a brief outline of your personal problems whether patient or carer. Having done that take some time looking at the other headings then decide which is the most appropriate and give a more detailed description of what information you require or indeed information you think would help. We are a family with a common end result - PD and how to get the most out of medication that is available and advice from members as to overcoming problems with symtoms or medication. We are here to help - imagine a Roman Galley - umpteen oars all pulling in the same direction for the common good - that's us. You may feel that your question is trivial - it is NOT. We are here to help and improve our knowledge so go for it. If you have PD or someone who has PD this site is the best thing since sliced bread! For those of you not familiar with the term "best thing since sliced bread" just accept that this site is the dog's what's it re PD, 'nough said

Thanks for the helpful hints. I am trying to naviagate my way around the site as I am new. To post additional comments or questions on this site does one start a new thread or add to thread that I started initially? Have a peaceful day all.

Hi Drew
thank you for that,
I find that people are saying hello, telling something about themselves, but also asking a question at the same time
not everyone comes in hear once they say hello, and some don't come in which is fine
so i thought, and this is only my thought
if someone said hello, etc, and post's it
then goes to the area ie, medication, General Parkinson question
carers questions, etc and asks there question, there is a better chance of someone finding it,as it's only a few [nose:p] ones that go all through the forum
