I have recently been diagnosed with low level Parkinson's. (Jan.2008) I am 54 years old and until this have been in excellent health- no med.'s other than vitamins.
I now take 1 mg Azilect 1x/day and 1200 mg Co-Q10 (400 3x/day) I am researching glyconutrient supplementation. Does anyone have any experince with glyconutrients or have informaton on as to whether or not thiey may be helpful with PD?

Thanks for any help.
Chris

My husband started taking 200 mg Co-Q10 a while ago. It is definitely helping. I think it slows the PD down. It was given to him by his neurologist.

He is also on Sinemet and Requip, which have been very good for him.

I've never heard of glyconutrients but if I learn anything, I will let you know.

Hope you have a good night's sleep and wake up feeling refreshed and then have a good day.

Margie :)
The people here on this Forum are wonderful. You will be glad that you are a part of this Family.

Margie :)

Hi Chris,

I was diagnosed three years ago and have taken sinement, requip and Co-Q10 since I was diagnosed. I don't know if the Co-Q10 helps, but I am hopeful it slows down the progression. Welcome aboard. Gail

Glad to meet some of you on the forum. I will let you know what I find out about glyconutrients- still looking into them! Have a good night all of you- and God bless each and everyone - sounds like something from a Christmas novel :)
