When I look up the definition of PD it says "resting tremors". I do not have resting tremors: mine only occur with motion. My doctor says that about half of her patients are like this.
Also people tell me that their bodies tell them when medication is required. I have missed taking my medications several times because I don't feel any different.
Any one else have symptoms like this?

hi purlbaugh, i have had pd for 5yrs and like you only seem to have slight tremor with some motions dont have it all the time, i sometimes forget my meds but my husband always reminds me i dont feel a whole lot different after taking them but i always know if they are working i can wiggle my fingers they feel like they have been released from a vice like grip but my body nevers seems to tell me when i,m ready for my next dose, i just take it three times during the day what meds are you on, susan.

Any one else have symptoms like this?Hi Pburlbaugh, I notice my tremors most when I try to relax at night. My body definately tells me when I need medication. My hand closes up and my gait is bad when I walk. Gail

My tremors mostly happen at rest. In fact, they tend to reduce when I am working on something.

Hi David
do you think this could be because you are concentrating more, and for a time your brain forgets about the PD
just a thought
