Oh! The "Friendship flowers" are awesome. Rarely have I seen such a beautiful and original arrangement. They will be a welcomed addition to my home. I am planning to put them in the room where I have my computer and do my art work.

Im self taught and have sold lots for a Parkers local charity club. in 2 yr I raised thousands.
Im currently making weddding goodies ie Bouquets etc

Its a hobby but I do have a business interest from work to sell them.
I never make a profit, because I never charge for making them. I only charge for the cost of the items

My prayers are with you daily. Have you heard any news on the biopsy results? May it be good, please God.

You sure are a positive person. Just from the posts you have sent me, I can tell this.

Also, have you read some of the jokes Heather has posted? If not, try to get to them. Some of them have made me laugh out loud...great stress buster.

I was delighted to hear you have a son 6 years old. May I ask his name? Tony and I have a grandchild close to his age.

We have three adult children. Katherine (Kathy) our daughter is 44, has two children Kelly 16 and Christopher 11 and is married to Steve. They live five minutes from us;

Francis (Frank) our oldest son is 42 and has 6 children, Michael 13, Sophia 11, Vincent 9, John 7, Elena 5, and Nicholas 2 1/2, and he is married to Miriam. They live in Virginia.

Our youngest son Christopher just turned 40 and is single. He is still living upstairs in our home. He is of great help to us in so many ways.

Tony and I have been married for 46 years this month and still love each other very much. We've come through many difficult times and we'll get through this too, just as you will dear friend.

Hope you don't mind writing now that you have found out I'm a senior citizen :eek: uh-oh! A very well put together one if I might add. Still very active and am grateful for life. I'm a positive person also and love to laugh. Enjoy music both listening to and playing the accordion and small organ.

I'm here ladies don't worry I haven't fallen off my high heels yet . (Bit silly cos I hit 6 foot with heels)

I know the flowers, they do look real as people try to smell them!! They are silk and dried flowers I use Susan. Ive hay fever so cant see to arrange fresh flowers, especially when my Glasses steam up !! That is especially dangerous whilst wearing high heeled shoes

Hi Jane,

(if you cant see a picture of a pot of red roses but can only see a link to click on, then you should follow the instructions in hobbies - computers.) Heather posted some excellent instructions

I make flower arrangements and Margie loves flowers so I offered to make her some and send them to her in New York as a gift so i called them "The friendship flowers"

I'll be amazed if they arrive intact as my friend inadvertently sent them by Donkey, instead of Air mail, having forgotten to pick up her purse with the postage money inside.

Now I know she hasn't got Parkers so I think it's alzhiemers because she came back for her purse and nearly left her glasses in my fridge having made us both a cup of tea!! Ha ha

It goes to show that being younger does'nt mean they are any brighter ! Bless her

No I have not been able to do much on the computer these few days. Just here and there. Heather, I know you sent me a post regarding a medication the doctor was going to try on Jim...and I can't find it. I would really like to answer it but I do not remember any more of the post after I read it. I'm just barely getting my head back together after Tony's last fall. There have been several of them. One he had cut his head open and got bruised on both legs with several cuts too.

Tony (I can't even remember if I wrote this to you) has had a terrible fall. He hit his head too. Although there are no outward bruises the fall really shook him up quite a bit. I think it will be quite a while before he feels better emotionally. He really got scared.

Usually, I'm good in most situations. Well, I was when the fall happened but the days after I'm a bit shaky and afraid. Tony is just sitting on our sofa now and doesn't want to do much. So Chris took us for a car ride today and Tony couldn't wait to get home. How long do you think the shock of falling and the fear of it happening again will take to wear off? Oh God, I'm so glad to have friends like you to talk with.

Jumping back to the photobucket. I tried and got up to the "browse" I don't know what/where the "browse" is. Would you help me out on this? My mind is just not grasping the few simple steps that you wrote out Heather. Maybe it is just because of Tony's fall. It really got to me.

Hi, Margie. I am so sorry about Tony's fall. It is so frightening for everyone when that happens. I hope you are both doing better.

As for Photobucket, try these steps: (I am assuming that your computer screen and browser tools say the same things mine do. I hope that is correct. I am using Windows Internet Explorer as my browser. If you use Netscape or some other browser, your buttons might not be exactly the same.)

1. go to photobucket.com

2. click on "find stuff" (close to top of page)

3. You should see about 20 categories. Just click on one (try "Glitter", I think you will like it).

4. When you see a pic you like, click on the pic. It will go to its own page, in a box. Below the box are four options, each with a line of web address information. If you click on the box at the last option, "IMG Code - Forums & Bulletin Boards", the screen will say "copied".

5. When you go back to this forum and start to send a message, you can insert the "copied" image into your message, as I am doing now, with an image from "Glitter". You do it by going to the top of your page, clicke on "Edit", and it will give you the option to "Paste". Click on that, and this happens:

After you get that far, you are nearly there; you will soon be getting your own photos uploaded to photobucket and copying them into your messages, too.

Here is how you do it:

1. Go to photobucket.com and sign up.

2. When you have your photos in your computer, sign in to photobucket. Then click on "choose files" in the block that says "Upload Images and Videos".

3. Find the image on your computer that you want to upload. Double click on it, and it will automatically upload to photobucket; choose "save and continue"; and the image will be there in your photobucket album for you to see.

4. After you get the image in your album, it will have the same four options below it (the ones that I mentioned in the first part). Click on the fourth option, under ""IMG Code - Forums & Bulletin Boards", and it will say "copied".

5. Come back here to your message, and do just as you did with the other images. Go to the top left of your screen and click on "edit" and choose "paste" and the pic should appear in your message.

Is he using a stick yet, it may be time to think about a frame , this will make him feel safe, but most of all stop him rushing around, it was when Jim kept falling with a stick, and hurting himself he agreed to try it for a few days, at he did find it safer,

I have asked the doctor fora muscle relaxant,and he has suggested, Diazipam [spelling] He asked me to think it over , as it can make him more sleepy, but if it means i can move him better, then hopefully i can get him in his wheelchair , so get him out, so lift the depression, so he wont want to sleep so much,hope that makes sense

I've posted several pictures on the Forum and to you but since I'm delayed in reading posts and answering them I'm getting confusedd sometimes and answer the new one's first and the old ones last. More and more members are coming and more and more to read. This is a wonderful place to gather with friends...I'm so glad we are part of it.

Before my eyes close and I type while asleep...and that will make no sense...I am saying good night (good morening!).

Hope your arthritis gives you a few weeks off...if only a wish like this would come through for you...and I'll be writing you soon.

Good to see you are still posting. I'm starting to get back to it too.

I miss so many posts and find them days after they are put on. Things are a bit down at home right now and I can't get on computer to see Forum as much as I'd like.

You are right...I needed rest. This afternoon after sleeping a few hours during the night...After lunch I sat down on the sofa to read a little. Without realizing it...I fell asleep for four hours. After I awoke Tony and Chris told me I had slept through an awful thunder and lightening storm with hail. I never heard a thing. It was such a good, restful sleep. Thought I'd let you know.

How are you and Jim doing? Are you able to get out a bit in the garden? I think of you two each day and say a prayer for my dear friend and her husband.

I was very lazy yesterday
I moved Jim to the middle of his bed, climbed over him, and watched TV and dozed, it was only after i climbed off again, a few hour's did i think if his air mattress would hold both our weight :eek:
and what a sight if anyone was looking through the window , me climbing over on my knees , bum in the air, sorry if that's to much information :D:D
it's been cold hear since Wednesday, so not been able to go in the Garden

The pictures you posted are breathtaking. You are very fortunate to see so many beautiful places, and we are fortunate being that you always are so willing to share.

I'm so glad I got to see your posts and want to say a gigantic hello to you. I've been laid up a time with this back of mine. Got partial diagnosis yesterday. The neurologist called it spondylosis beginning stages. Am up and about now. Can't keep a Mellow Red Shiraz down for long :).

Did you ever get Dragon on your computer? We had tried to get something like that for Tony but he won't use it. I still am hoping he will change his mind sometime in the future.
