I am very fortunate with the blessing of being able to paint.
That is my one love. With the awful tremble some times in my left arm, it makes it difficult, but no giving up.
Please drop me a line and tell me your crafts, etc. as I have had many over the years.

Hi Jenni
I was so afraid to paint after my diagnosis. (I was painting before I found out I had PD!) I didn't want to end up painting with little control. As it is now, I did put brush to canvas - my daughter-in-law, who is an artist gave me a big brush and a large canvas and told me to go to it. I'm pleased I did and I'm excited at the change of style. I noticed that fine motor skills aren't there anymore but it doesn't matter. Painting is such a relaxing thing to do. And if you are playing your favourite music you are away in a world of your own. I love it.
To keep my mind active I also like Genealogy. It's a great exercise as it's like doing detective work where there's things to detect, to hunt for and you get involved with the history of the time. At the moment I'm involved with WW1 where I've learnt that a GrGrUncle belonged to a Battalion of Cyclists!!!
I've done heaps of research to know more about this group.
So Jennie good luck with your art.
