Dad (76) has just start yesterday taking a low dose of Levodopa/Carbidopa 250/50 (he takes 1/4 tablet three times daily, every 6 hours). Dose will be increased weekly according to signs.
I know it's too soon to see any results and that everyone reacts to this drugs in a different way, anyway I would greatly appreciate your comments and experience with this drug combination.
When it is expected to see any results and at what dose?
Did it work for you, how much, and for how long?
Dad has the non tremor form of PD, he feels very tired, shows slowness of movement, walking problems, rigidness, depression, decreased arm swing, nicturia, insomnia and therefore daytime sleepiness, eats well, speaks just if necessary.
Any comments will be greatly appreciated!!Thank you all!
